This book has a great premise and shows a lot of promise but I felt there were areas that could have been explored to a greater extent and other areas where it was over done. To me it felt like an 'almost there' mystery. I couldn't quite relate to the characters who seemed a little two dimensional and, sadly, found by the end of the book that I didn't really care very much one way or the other. A bit more work is needed and it could be a great novel.
