(More customer reviews)I bought this book last week and it's excellent value for money. It has all the information about vitamins and herbs; it gives recommendations as well as warnings; advice about specific ailments, and so much more. I was surprised at the depth of information given. For example, my doctor told me that the herb known as horsetail helped halt osteoporosis when taken along with calcium. He also recommended boron. Nowhere else have I found confirmation of that information but this book mentions both. Unfortunately, you will not find horsetail listed in the index. That is the only complaint I have about the book that, occasionally, just occasionally, something was not listed in the index that was referred to in the text. If you care about your health, I recommend it. It's a no-nonsense book.
