After reading countless health books, "A Woman's Body Balanced by Nature" by Janet Maccaro, PhD, CNC, stands out as the best ever! Get it for yourself, your girlfriends, your daughters...do them an enormous favor and what a wonderful gift to give this year. The author's holistic approach skillfully harmonizes all aspects of life to inspire the balance she insightfuly reveals and teaches us to embrace for optimum health and peace for the rest of our lives. Her information and self-assessments are authoritative and comprehensive. As I found myself discovering powerful new concepts, I also became aware that I was promising myself to adopt new habits and respect myself in a higher way. The wealth of information reflects the author's two doctorates but her wisdom, drawn from deep personal experience, should gain her a third PhD. She obviously lives her philosophy. The section detailing how emotions influence health and illness on pages 31-38 is worth the price of the book alone.
