1. No Table of Contents;
2. No Index;
3. So many formatting errors on every single page it's almost impossible to read;
4. Glaring typing errors on most pages;
5. Author made up his own abbreviations and it took me forever to figure them out (example: MPSB which stands for "melt and pour soap base".) I still haven't figured out what DH stands for - "Dear Husband"? - page 70 "This seems to work pretty well for my DH...";
6. No rhyme or reason for the order the recipes are in. Bath oils are grouped with soaps and cleansing creams with lotion bars. Some are in alphabetical order and some aren't. On page 138, Exfoliating Foot Mask is next to Eye Puffiness Easer. Granted, it's alphabetical, but if I was looking for foot help I wouldn't be looking in what I think is the facial area. Page 181 has lip balm, hair highlighter, a tonic for soothing skin and an exfoliator. You have no idea where to look for anything;
7. No general explanations on how to make or use oils, soaps, etc.;
8. No explanations about the differences between essential oils and fragrence oils;
9. No good warnings about using essential oils and how irritating they can be to skin; and
10. The back cover states "...soaps and oils that are 100% nautural and environmentally friendly..." and then on page 180 says to use petroleum jelly! Oh, yeah, that's really natural and environmentally friendly. And someone needs to tell the author that fragrence oils aren't 100% natural. Scores of them are made from petroleum products.
Many of the recipes are good, but if this is your first attempt at making soaps or bath salts or lotions, get another book.
