It covers all the bassic areas one would expect (how to feed them, how to keep them disease-free, even how to pick out the right kind for you), and it does so in a very clear, well-explained manner. I can't comment on some aspects of the process, because our koi pond isn't done yet, but so far this book has been very helpful throughout the planning process. If you're planning on raising koi yourself, this book is an excellent primer on the subject.
