This book gave a very broad overview of chemicals in our homes and bodies. It was an easy to read book that is definitely a great start at understanding the toxic chemical burden each of us faces by using common products. Boyd discusses indoor air, food, water, household products, and the greater scope of the world's affect of the heavy use of toxic chemicals. After doing a lot of research on the subject, there is nothing new I didn't already know from internet reasearch done by The Environmental Working Group or other such organizations. A book supplement choice would be "Slow Death by Rubber Duck" by Bruce Lourie. That book gave much better detailed explainations for things than this book. Overall it was a good read, just not as informative as I would have hoped.
